Mazda BT-50 generations and fitment
Accessories for the Mazda BT-50 are matched to the model generation, cab style and body, so the year range matters more than the badge. Here is how we approach it:
- UP series (2011 to 2020): The second-generation BT-50 was developed alongside the Ford Ranger PX of the same era. Confirm your year and variant before ordering.
- UR series (2020 onwards): The third-generation BT-50 shares its underpinnings with the Isuzu D-MAX. Shared mechanical parts do not guarantee interchangeable accessories, so we always confirm by BT-50 model year.
Choosing a canopy and racks for your BT-50
The BT-50 sits in the middle of the dual-cab market, and the right setup depends on how much you tour. A canopy with glass side windows and a roof rack suits families and weekend trips.
